Delivery & Site Responsibility Policy

Delivery & Site Responsibility Policy

RED SKY STEEL LLC
DELIVERY & SITE RESPONSIBILITY POLICY

1. Dealer Status Reminder

Red Sky Steel LLC (“RSS”) is an independent authorized dealer of pre-engineered steel building systems. All manufacturing, engineering, delivery scheduling, and installation services are performed exclusively by third-party manufacturers and/or their approved contractors. RSS does not control delivery vehicles, installation crews, or construction timelines.

2. Customer Responsibility for Site Preparation

Customer is solely responsible for ensuring the project site is fully prepared prior to scheduled delivery and installation. This includes, but is not limited to: grading, leveling, soil preparation, slab or foundation construction (if applicable), removal of debris, and ensuring adequate working space for installation crews.

3. Access Requirements

Customer must ensure clear and unobstructed access to the site for delivery trucks and installation equipment. This includes sufficient driveway width, overhead clearance (free from tree limbs, wires, or structures), and safe ground conditions capable of supporting heavy trucks and equipment. If delivery or installation cannot occur due to inadequate access, additional fees or rescheduling charges imposed by the manufacturer may apply.

4. Permits & Code Compliance

Customer is solely responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, zoning approvals, HOA approvals, and ensuring compliance with local building codes. RSS does not obtain permits or verify local code compliance unless expressly agreed in writing.

5. Utility Marking (811)

Customer must ensure that all underground utilities are properly marked prior to installation. Failure to properly mark utilities may result in delays, additional charges, or damage for which RSS is not responsible.

6. Delivery Scheduling & Timeline Estimates

All production, delivery, and installation timelines are estimates only and are determined by the manufacturer. Timelines may be affected by weather, material availability, engineering revisions, freight logistics, permitting delays, or other circumstances beyond RSS’s control. RSS does not guarantee specific delivery or installation dates.

7. Weather & Site Conditions

Installation may be delayed due to unsafe weather conditions, excessive moisture, unstable soil, or other site conditions that prevent safe construction. Rescheduling due to site conditions may result in additional manufacturer-imposed fees.

8. Storage & Responsibility for Materials

If delivery occurs prior to installation, Customer assumes responsibility for safeguarding materials delivered to the site. RSS is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to materials once delivered.

9. Additional Charges

Customer acknowledges that additional fees may be imposed by the manufacturer for site-related issues including, but not limited to, rescheduling, travel surcharges, excessive site preparation, or failed inspections.

10. Acknowledgment

By placing an order, Customer acknowledges responsibility for site preparation and understands that delivery and installation are controlled by the manufacturer. This Policy is incorporated into and governed by the RSS Terms & Conditions.
